Lindisfarne Appoints Director of Studies and Tutor for Ordinands

Following news earlier in the year of Richard Bryant’s retirement on 31 August 2011, Lindisfarne is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr David Bryan, currently Rector of Haughton le Skerne, Darlington, as Director of Studies and Tutor for Ordinands.

David developed significant expertise as a theological educator at the Queen’s Foundation, Birmingham, where he contributed to the preparation of candidates for Anglican and Methodist ordained ministries.  He is a serious Biblical scholar with a number of publications to his name and is currently Chair of the Jesus Seminar of the British New Testament Society.  David currently teaches Lindisfarne’s module on Mission.

Lindisfarne very much looks forward to welcoming David as a full-time member of the core staff team; he will take up his post on 1 September 2011.
