Developing Confident Leadership Courses

The following ‘Developing Confident Leadership in your Church’ workshops are now open to all at no charge.  Training is of a high quality but is also gentle, aiming to help participants change their thinking from “I might be able to help with…”  to “I might be able to take a lead in…”

Leading Bible Study will run on 1 and 8 December, 7-9pm at Church House, Percy Main.  This course is about letting the Bible do the work and demonstrating stress free ways to lead – creating  Bible study groups that could change your church and your life.  Workshop design: Sheila Bamber, John Sadler and Peter Middlemiss.

Leading Small Group Worship will run on 30 November and 7 December, 7-9pm at Church House, Percy Main.  Ths course explores ways of being open to God and to one another and looks at different ways to experience prayer and praise using a variety of resources.  Workshop design Audrey MCCartan and Trish Kemp

Managing Difficult Situations will run on 30 November and 7 December, 7-9pm at Church House, Percy Main.  This course covers creative ways of thinking through your church’s issues and encouraging people to find solutions together.  Workshop design: Sue Hart and Gloria Cadman.  Delivery: Gloria Cadman and Alison Stroud.

The Leading Bible Study and Managing Difficult Situations workshops currently require a greater number of attendees in order to become viable.
